Schneider Hopfenweisse (Tap 5)

A fantastic German wheat beer with an American twist, the Schneider Hopfenweisse Tap 5 is a weizenbock beer that was originally an experimental collaboration between the breweries Schneider and Brooklyn. This hoppy weissbier was such a success that it has remained part of the Weissbierbrauerei G. Schneider & Sohn's core range. Expect big aromas of the citrus fruits, pineapple, spice and grass alongside the usual banana notes. A similar flavour on the palate is accompanied by a caramel malty-sweetness. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated, a zingy hoppiness and bitter edge cuts through the otherwise sticky mouthfeel. This is a wonderfully unique beer to try again and again. We love it!
