The Abbaye de Leffe take pride in brewing top fermented ales, true to the Belgian tradition.

So, when they decided to brew a new Leffe, the took inspiration directly from the source – The traditional monastic brewing & combined this with a modern twist to create a rich, unique & complex Ale.

The Leffe Prestige is a full-bodied ale at 8.5% ABV true to the traditional Belgian Ales with intense floral, fruity & spicy notes balanced with a complex malty backbone.
The speciality of this beer is to showcase a complex malt bill with a combination of barley, wheat, oats followed by a secret spice mix & a unique yeast that delivers & harmonises the signature Leffe flavours of - Vanilla, Clove/smoke with notes of banana.

Appearance: The Leffe Prestige pours with a deep gold to Amber hue & a frothy, persistent off-white head.
Nose: The Leffe Prestige starts off with intense notes of vanilla, clove, star Anais & banana.
The blend of malts provides the beer with notes of hay, flour dough, white bread & caramel. You can also sense floral notes of acacia honey, hints of chamomile tea along with fruity notes of red apple, pear, quince, citrus & banana followed by the intense spice bouquet with clove, vanilla, star anise, coriander, & hints of white pepper,
Flavour & Mouthfeel: The beer starts off with rich residual sweetness & a mild carbonation.

As you swirl the beer around your tongue, you’ll notice its bready & velvety smooth texture followed by spicy & fruity notes of banana, vanilla, star anise & coriander. The beer is well balanced between the spice & malty flavours with very low bitterness. The finish is long with notes of caramel, spice & a warming sensation.
