So, we’ve got some big news today that we’re really quite excited about up here at Beer Hawk Towers…
We’ve hooked up with AB InBev to help bring a whole new dimension and scope to what we have always done. It’s great news, not just because we’ll have the ability to help bring in a whole new set of beers from some of the best and toughest to source breweries on the planet, but it’ll also enable us to provide even more support to the breweries, partners and suppliers we already work with. We’ll be getting a much bigger warehouse too, expanding the team (a lot!), opening a new tasting room and as we grow we will hopefully get an even better deal to help minimize those annoying delivery charges!
We’re going to be able to shout louder about the great service we offer and make it even easier for our customers to try the amazing beer made by the fantastic breweries we work with. We’ve always wanted to provide beer-lovers with Britain’s best selection of domestic and foreign beer and this deal helps us to do that even better. To be absolutely crystal clear, that means we will be actively promoting beers from all of the best breweries around the world, including the ones we choose from AB InBev.
When we founded Beer Hawk back in the summer of 2012, we did so because it was unbelievably difficult to enjoy decent craft beer at home. Since then we’ve been on a mission to hunt out the very best beers in the world and deliver them safely to the homes of our beer-loving customers. We continue to be really excited about doing that and this deal won’t affect that passion or our approach in any way. Fundamentally our commitment to only the best beer remains… only the finest in the new warehouse on our watch!
Like we said, the size and global reach AB InBev brings to the party does mean that we’ll be able to bring in a boatload of beers that aren’t currently available in UK. From today, we’ve added the brilliant beers from Goose Island to our range and to celebrate we’re giving a bottle to everyone who places an order across the next week. It’ll be a mystery Goose Island beer that we pop into every case and 24 hugely lucky people will be getting a gratis bottle of one of the best beers on the planet - Goose Island’s legendary Bourbon County Stout. The fact Goose Island is now more readily available across Britain is just the first of what will be many examples of why this partnership is great news – these are the beers that started our love affair with craft beer and we’re proud to be bringing them back.
So lots to do and please watch this space for some exciting updates across the next year. Thanks for your support these last three years and we hope that we can continue to keep everyone well stocked with the best and most exciting beers!
