Westmalle Brewery

The rule of St. Benedict dictates that monks living in an monastery should produce their own sustenance, and lucky for us Westmalle is no different. The brothers have a farm, a dairy and of course a brewery producing lots of lovely food and drink, some of which is sold on to the general public. Proceeds from these sales go to support the monastery and the monks’ charitable works.
