They put all their expertise into this beer, meticulously selecting each ingredient and perfecting a special brewing process. They worked obsessively to find the precise temperature to fire-roast the malts, transforming them into a golden lager with a crisp, refreshing taste. And they even designed its iconic bottle, wrapped in gold.

All that expertise and care have made Modelo what it is today: a rich, full-flavored lager, still made and enjoyed with the same passion nearly a century later. Especial reflects both the pride taken in crafting this beer and the dedication that makes it cherished by Mexicans and many others worldwide.
