Today we’re launching the Hospitality Support Alliance. Along with our friends at Master of Malt, we’ll be donating £1 for every order placed on our websites over the next month to support hospitality workers who are struggling to make ends meet because of COVID-19 crisis.
Help us Save the Pubs
Many of you know Beer Hawk as ‘a website that sells beer’. In addition to that, we also have three bars (one in Leeds, two in London), and supply pubs and restaurants up and down the country.
As a result, we’re lucky enough to call some of the most amazing people in the hospitality business our customers, colleagues, and friends. But right now, we’re seeing our friends struggle - as the impact of COVID-19 becomes clear, Britain’s pubs and bars are taking a significant blow.
At Beer Hawk we’re working hard to find alternative working arrangements for our bar staff - helping members of our Leeds team transition into our nearby warehouse for instance - but we want to try and help as many people in the hospitality industry as possible.
So today we’re launching the Hospitality Support Alliance. Along with our friends at Master of Malt, we’ll be donating £1 for every order placed on our websites over the next month to support hospitality workers who are struggling to make ends meet because of this crisis.
While £1 per order may not sound like much, between us these donations will build up and make a very real difference, helping people keep food on the table and a roof above their heads.
Our partners at hospitalityaction.org.uk will administer this fund and make sure the grants get to the individuals who need them the most. The Hospitality Support Alliance is also supported by the Budweiser Brewing Group, and we invite all online retailers regardless of their industry to join our alliance and help support our friends when they need it the most.
Together, we will get through this.
