A few days ago our friends at Rooster's Brewing Co. opened up their doors to the masses so we could go take a peek at how they do things. Always ready to party, I cleared my diary and made a day out of the 2016 Rooster's Open Day filled with games, food and, of course, beer. It was during the Open Day where I had a thought: I really like these guys and their beer. And I should probably tell people why I think they're so great. It's part of my new thing: if you've got something nice to say to somebody, make sure you say it! So here we are. Ten Reasons Why I Love Rooster's Brewing Co. 1.) Their beer is great. Very clean, very drinkable and very good. Cask, keg, bottle or can: a definite go-to. 2.) Consistent as hell. Rooster's is one of those breweries that is easy to pick out of a crowd and you always know that you'll get the same thing. 3.) They're down-to-earth.

It was during the Open Day where I had a thought: I really like these guys and their beer. And I should probably tell people why I think they're so great.
3.) They're down-to-earth. The team and the beer. There's no snobbery here, they simply love what they do and just get on with it.
4.) They do their own thing. They're not trying to take over the world nor are they concerned about the next guy. They just want to do the best job they can at what they do best.
5.) Baby Faced Assassin. Oh that beer. It's not an international award-winner for nothing.
6.) Their Open Day is pretty damn fun. A great day out for the whole family--and your dog if it's not crazy like mine--the Open Day will always be on my calendar.
7.) They've done some great collaborations. Who doesn't love The Accomplice collab with Odell Brewing Co.?
8.) They're nice and, wow, are they funny. Pretty cool too.
9.) Outlaw Brewing Co. While Rooster's is always doing great things, it's their experimental arm where things start to get a bit wacky.
10.) They're growing. And growing. Just yesterday they took possession of three new vessels that'll help them meet demand. Help. They're very popular.
There are a million beers reasons why I love Rooster's. I hope sharing a little love their way will help you discover your own reasons to love them as well. If you've got your own reason, please share in the comments below. Or let us know your favourite brewery that we should show a little love to!
Cheers to you guys, Roosters!

We’re back for the second edition of ‘Must Try Kegs’. Last week we spotlighted three fantastic kegs from our MultiTRY range and this week is no different. From a personal favourite lager of mine, to a couple of flavour sensations, take a read through why we think you have to try these three.
