Camden Town Brewery is best known for its bottom-fermented beers, particularly lagers. With Camden IPA, the brewery brings its signature expertise to a bold new creation inspired by the West Coast IPA style.
With an alcohol content of 5.8%, Camden IPA is a must-try for hop lovers seeking a beer with a strong and distinctive character.
Brewed with Simcoe hops, Camden IPA delivers vibrant aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. The combination of Pale, Cara, and Pilsner malts provides a smooth, light body, while California Ale yeast gives the beer its unmistakable West Coast personality.
Camden IPA: a bold and bitter tasting experience
From the first sip, the hops take center stage, hitting the palate with a firm and assertive bitterness. This intensity is balanced by bright notes of citrus and exotic fruits. A subtle malt sweetness rounds out the profile, creating perfect harmony. The finish is refreshingly bitter and long-lasting, offering a true West Coast IPA experience.
Pair Camden IPA with a smash Burger
Camden IPA is best enjoyed well chilled, ideally at 5°C. Its pronounced hop bitterness makes it an excellent pairing for spicy dishes and burgers. For the ultimate match, we recommend enjoying it with a classic smash burger.
Originally from the United States, smash burgers are a major street food trend. The concept is simple: a beef patty is smashed onto a very hot griddle (between 250 and 300°C), creating irresistibly crispy edges. The grilled, salty flavors of the burger perfectly balance the bitterness of Camden IPA.
