Because we know the PerfectDraft community loves discovering new beers—and because new kegs don’t launch every day—we’re delighted to unveil Bass today!
After Leffe Blonde, Hoegaarden, Kwak, Tripel Karmeliet, and many more, the PerfectDraft beer tap now welcomes Bass, a light and refreshing premium ale with an alcohol content of 4.4%. Perfect for the sunny days just around the corner.

The history of Bass
Founded in England in 1777 by William Bass, Bass Brewery is the creator of the iconic Bass Pale Ale. This light ale quickly became a huge success, making Bass the best-selling beer in the United Kingdom. One hundred years later, in 1877, the brewery became the largest in the world, producing over one million barrels per year.
Thanks to this success, Bass beer was exported across the British Empire and beyond. Over time, the brand outpaced its competitors, and its famous red triangle became one of the most recognisable beer symbols worldwide. Today, this historic beer arrives straight into your home via your PerfectDraft system.
Tasting Bass
Before tasting, a quick look at the keg confirms that Bass is a light ale with a modest 4.4% ABV, making the PerfectDraft serving temperature of 3°C ideal. Once poured, Bass reveals a slightly dark golden-yellow colour, crowned with a thin, fluffy white head.
On the nose, expect malty and fruity aromas, complemented by subtle notes of hazelnut and caramel. The mouthfeel is light with moderate carbonation, leading to a clean, slightly dry finish.

Exceptionally refreshing, Bass Pale Ale is a must-have addition to your PerfectDraft beer tap and may even make you forget all other beers—whether from PerfectDraft or beyond. Discover more breweries such as Basqueland Brewing Project or Brussels Beer Project.
