We recommend giving your machine a light clean every time you change the keg. Here are the five key steps:
- Turn off the machine by unplugging it from the power source.
- Wipe the exterior of the tap with a slightly damp cloth, including around the door seal.
- Check the ventilation grilles for dust. If needed, use a brush or vacuum cleaner to remove any debris.
- Clean the tap and handle: Remove the medallion from the handle and rinse the tap head. Use mild detergent if necessary. The removable spout is dishwasher-safe. Be sure everything is completely dry before reassembling.
- Wash the drip tray with hot water. Both tray parts can also be placed in the dishwasher.

What to do if frost forms inside your beer tap
Noticed a layer of frost inside your PerfectDraft Pro? Don’t worry — this is normal and related to the cooling system.
To fix it, unplug the machine and leave the door open until the frost has completely melted. Most of the water will drain into the drip tray, but you can also wipe the interior with a cloth to remove any excess moisture.
