How was beer created ? PerfectDraft has the perfect answer
Before going into detail about the various stages involved in making beer, it should be noted that beer contains water, malt (germinated cereal), hops and yeast. After malting, the malt grains are crushed. The resulting grist is mixed with hot water to make mash.
After this mashing stage comes the brewing, with a rise in temperature. The sweet wort thus obtained is then introduced into a boiling vat, a stage in the production process during which spices or other ingredients will give the beer its specific flavour and aromas.
Fermentation helps define the beer's style. The wort is cooled to a certain temperature. Yeasts consume the oxygen and then the sugars before releasing carbon dioxide (the bubbles) and alcohol. Finally comes maturation, filtration and packaging.
At PerfectDraft, we often give some information about the type of fermentation, the brewing method and mention the various ingredients used to make these beers.
