About 4 Pines Brewing Co.

4 Pines Brewing Co. was born from a simple conversation between a father and son who were frustrated by the limited craft beer selection available at the time. They envisioned a community-driven microbrewery built on strong values: innovation, employee culture, sustainability and social responsibility.

Founded in 2008 in Manly, New South Wales, Australia, the brewery quickly became a vibrant part of the local beer scene. More than just a family project, it grew into a passionate community of brewers and beer lovers. Deeply committed to environmental action, 4 Pines launched the “Save The Pines” initiative and became a Certified B Corporation — a global movement of companies balancing business performance with environmental and social impact.

American Pale Ale Style

Pacific Ale draws inspiration from the American Pale Ale (APA) style. Originating from English brewing traditions and reimagined by American craft brewers, APA is known for its pronounced hop character, refreshing bitterness and vibrant aromatic profile.

Modern interpretations often enhance the malt backbone to create more body while maintaining balance. Light, flavourful and thirst-quenching, this style is perfect after a surf session or while relaxing on a sunny beach.

Pacific Ale

Pacific Ale captures the essence of Australia’s coastline in every sip. Golden and radiant, it is crowned with a fine, fluffy white head. The aroma immediately reveals fresh Australian Galaxy and Vic Secret hops, bursting with notes of yellow peach, apricot and citrus.

As the aromas develop, hints of orange zest and grapefruit emerge, alongside subtle green and resinous notes reminiscent of pine. On the palate, the attack is crisp and lively, with exceptional drinkability. Tropical hop flavours evoke pineapple and guava, leading to a dry finish balanced by a clean, refreshing bitterness.
