Ingredients

  • 600 g pork tenderloin
  • 500 g potatoes
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • Grain mustard
  • Mixed salad

Preparation

Remove the pork tenderloin from the refrigerator ahead of time to bring it to room temperature. Pat the meat dry to help develop a better crust. Season with salt and pepper.

Preheat your oven to 180°C.

In a frying pan, melt some butter and sear the pork tenderloin over high heat, turning it every 2 minutes to brown all sides evenly.

Transfer the meat to a buttered ovenproof dish and place it in the oven. For a slightly pink result, cook for 15 to 20 minutes. For a more well-done texture, extend the cooking time to 20 or 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut them into wedges. Brown them in a frying pan with a bit of butter and season with salt.

Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the oven, loosely cover with aluminium foil, and let it rest. This step helps redistribute the juices and keeps the meat tender.

Slice the pork into moderately thick pieces, arrange on plates, and brush each slice with grain mustard. Serve with the sautéed potatoes and a portion of mixed salad. A traditional Sunday dish at its finest!

What beer should you drink with roast pork tenderloin ?

A glass of Leffe Brune provides the perfect flavour balance, with every sip enhancing each bite in a delightful burst of taste!

The Leffe Brune reveals a beautiful mahogany hue with reddish highlights and a generous, lasting head. On the palate, it offers an initial impression of smoothness and creaminess, followed by a refined bitterness. Its subtly sweet and caramelised notes, along with hints of coffee, result from the careful use of roasted malts during brewing. The mild bitterness and sweet finish perfectly complement the roasted meat and tangy mustard flavours of the pork tenderloin.
