In several countries, in France, Europe and other continents, beer experts meet to distinguish the best beer in the world. But these juries don't just distinguish one benchmark, but several.

The Word Beer Awards thus reward various types of beer, such as Anosteké Blonde (from the north of France), Wanderer (IPA), Salto (Stout and Porter), Qualified (brown), Excellence du Val-Dieu (flavoured), Kellerbier (Lager), 10-4-20 (Sour), Kriek Brut Xtra (Special) and Brugs Tarweibier (wheat beer) and 10-4-20 (Sour).
