Temperature control is one of the most innovative features of the PerfectDraft Pro beer tap. Until now, beers were always cooled to 3°C. But some styles taste much better when served slightly warmer or colder. With PerfectDraft Pro, you can now enjoy each beer at its ideal serving temperature for the ultimate draught beer experience!
How does the temperature control work?
The PerfectDraft Pro allows you to set the serving temperature anywhere between 0°C and 12°C.
Once your keg is connected, you can adjust the cooling either directly on the machine or via the PerfectDraft Pro mobile app. This flexibility ensures your beer is always served just the way you like it.
Adjusting the temperature on the machine
Use the + and – buttons located on either side of the control screen to select your desired temperature. While adjusting, the display turns white. Once confirmed, the screen reverts to showing the current keg temperature.
Setting the temperature via the PerfectDraft Pro app
With the PerfectDraft app, you can control your machine remotely. On the main screen, tap the temperature indicator below the tap display to access the control panel. Slide the pointer to set your preferred temperature between 0°C and 12°C. Your machine will then adjust automatically.
How to read the temperature display?
The control screen uses a colour indicator to show the keg’s status:
- Orange: the keg is still warmer than the set temperature.
- Blue: the keg is within 2°C of the set temperature, meaning the beer is ready to serve.
What is the ideal serving temperature for each style of beer?
Each style of beer has an optimal serving temperature that enhances its aromas and flavours. Lighter, refreshing beers taste better very cold, while darker, maltier styles benefit from being served warmer.
