Hey, any tips for pouring the perfect pint ? Mine always ends up with way more foam than beer. What am I doing wrong ? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Frothy pours are usually down to one of three things – nail these and you’ll be pouring pub-perfect pints in no time!
1. Clean glass – even the tiniest bit of grease or residue can mess with your pour; have that glass sparkling first (and chilled, if you’re feeling fancy...).
2. Pouring technique – hold the glass at a 45° angle, keep it close to the nozzle, and open the tap fully and quickly (don’t be shy!).
3. Let it chill – make sure the keg is properly cooled before you pour. Check the product page or app for the ideal temp – and yes, we know it’s tempting to dive in early, but it really does make a difference, trust us. You can always pre-chill them in the fridge to speed up the cooling process!
I’m not always home to wait in for a collection. How else can I return my kegs ?
Easy - just drop them off in store! Our community stores accept returned kegs, and you can even earn your beer tokens on the spot to put towards your next order.
