Just because winter is coming doesn't mean that the beer calendar slows down. In fact, it's a great chance to try some of the winter ales that breweries are releasing. Oct 12-15 / Nottingham Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival. The much loved festival returns to Nottingham Castle.

Oct 14-15 / Cambridge Octoberfest. The 10th Cambridge CAMRA festival features all the Munich Oktoberfest beers.
Oct 19-22 / Sheffield Steel City Beer & Cider Festival. One of the country's best beer cities holds a great CAMRA festival at the Kelham Island Museum.
Oct 20-22 / Independent Salford Beer Festival. The third year for this great festival, featuring some seriously good breweries and to support Saint Sebastian's Community Centre.
Oct 24-29 / Norwich Beer Festival. Another great beer city celebrates with more than 200 beers at St Andrew's and Blackfriars' Halls.
